<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block well outputting by inner reflection and others of pulse modulated transmission millimeter wave signals toward a receiving system in a millimeter wave transceiver of pulse modulation type. <P>SOLUTION: In the millimeter wave transceiver using a NRD guide consisting of a dielectric waveguide sandwiched by parallel plate conductors as a basic configuration and equipped with a millimeter wave signal oscillator device 21, a pulse modulator device 22, a circulator 23, a transmitting and receiving antenna 24 and a mixer 25, a switch 26 which blocks intermediate frequency signals opens and passes intermediate frequency signals in close state when transmission millimeter wave signals from the pulse modulator device 22 are in stable without outputting is set up at the output terminal of the mixer 25. Thus, intermediate frequency signals desired can be output without leakage, to the rear stage of the mixer 25, of intermediate signals containing noise due to transmission millimeter wave signals mixed to the mixer 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
