A system for identifying and cataloguing vehicles, and for creating and subsequently managing a corresponding databank, comprises means for archiving a plurality of items of information, means for acquiring additional information relating to safety elements, exterior elements and optional elements of the said vehicles, recording means for recording the acquired information in groups of information in a predetermined order, and transmission means for transferring the said groups of information to the said archiving means. |
