<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator capable of enhancing both the power generation efficiency and reliability, by optimizing the positional relation of a rotator, an impactor and a piezoelectric element. <P>SOLUTION: The generator comprises a rotator 7, rotatively driven by an external force, an impactor 85 held in the vicinity of the rotator 7 by an impactor-holding mechanism 8, and a piezoelectric element 9 arranged contiguously to the impactor 85.
