<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator capable of enhancing both the power generation efficiency and reliability, by optimizing the positional relation of a rotator, an impactor and a piezoelectric element. <P>SOLUTION: The generator comprises a rotator 7, rotatively driven by an external force, an impactor 85 held in the vicinity of the rotator 7 by an impactor-holding mechanism 8, and a piezoelectric element 9 arranged contiguously to the impactor 85. With regard to the rotator 7, the impactor 85 and the piezoelectric element 9, a clearance C between the movement locus of protrusion 72 on the rotator 7 and the impactor 85, at the moment when the impactor 85 impacts the piezoelectric element 9 is set at about 0 mm according for example, to the expression -0.2 mm≤C≤+0.2 mm, for example. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
