<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel used for input operation of various electronic equipment, the touch panel which is free of misoperations and enables sure operation. <P>SOLUTION: The touch panel is constituted by providing an insulating belt 17, which extends inward to a frame-shaped lower insulating frame 16 formed on an outer periphery of the top surface of a lower substrate 3; as a result, when a window frame part 10B of an upper housing 10 is pressed by mistake, the insulating belt 17 prevents an upper conductive layer 2 from coming into contact with a lower conductive layer 4, thereby obtaining the touch panel which can surely be operated, without misoperations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
