PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a series of user operations to acquisition of a content and enhance the response of a user terminal to the user operations.

SOLUTION: A client application (navigation program) 21-A having at least the function of guiding a series of operations by a user of reading and storing, on installing a removable storage medium 31 to a client 11-B, respective meta data of one or more contents from the removable storage medium 31 in a client metadata database 22, and selecting a content to be acquired from the one or more contents by use of the metadata (the function of presenting navigation information in a form of image or the like) is installed as a client application 21. This invention is applicable to a client which acquires and uses an Internet-delivered content.
