<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driving apparatus which has a low noise, a low vibration and the large maximum output. <P>SOLUTION: In the motor driving apparatus, switching of an inverter circuit which outputs sinusoidal wave-like AC current is 2-phase modulated, and an equal modulation period is added to all phases including a non-modulation phase in a carrier period. Thus, a phase voltage by the 2-phase modulation becomes as it is. The sinusoidal wave-like AC current becomes smooth. The same effect as the effect that the carrier frequency is raised is obtained.
