<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exposure device capable of outputting an image having a stable photo quality by preventing fluctuation in distribution of light quantity of a light emitting unit as an exposure light source caused by variation in temperature. <P>SOLUTION: This optical print head 20 as the exposure device is equipped with a light emitting unit 3 that comprises a rectangular shaped light guide body 6a made of a transparent member and an LED unit 9 and makes an incident light from the LED unit 9 by being incident from a short side of the light guide body 6a to be a line shaped output light output from a long side of the light guide body 6a. The light emitting unit 3 is equipped with a head cover 4 for positioning and holding the light guide body 6a and the LED unit 9. The head cover 4 has a first recessed section for housing the light guide body 6a and a second recessed section for forming a prescribed air layer provided between the short side forming the incident face of the light guide body 6a and the LED unit 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
