<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing mechanism used for a displacer for a cryogenic refrigerator and capable of preventing leakage. <P>SOLUTION: A piston 10 for the cryogenic refrigerator is provided with a circumferential-directional groove 54 having a separation type dynamic seal ring 46 having a flat surface directed axial-directionally, and having a static seal ring 40 having a flat surface abutting to the flat surface of the dynamic seal ring 46, and a spring 48 attached in the groove. The spring 48 applies axial-directional force onto the static seal ring 40 to disperse the axial-directional load over the dynamic seal ring 46 by the static seal ring 40, and the dynamic seal ring 46 is thereby prevented from being reciprocation-moved in the groove to limit a leakage route of the seal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
