PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing polyurethane foam in which the amount of VOC (volatile organic compounds) generated from polyurethane foam on the basis of an amine-based catalyst is reduced even in a high-temperature state and fogging hardly occurs and which has excellent heat resistance, excellent hardness properties and small residual compressive strain. SOLUTION: The method for producing a polyurethane foam comprises reacting a polyol component with an isocyanate component in the presence of a catalyst containing a compound represented by formula (I): (CH<SB>3</SB>)<SB>2</SB>N(CH<SB>2</SB>)<SB>p</SB>OH (1) (p is an integer of 4-9) and a compound represented by formula (II) (R<SP>1</SP>is a 2 or 3C straight-chain or branched-chain aminoalkyl group or hydroxyalkyl group; R<SP>2</SP>is a hydrogen atom or a 1-4C straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group) and a blowing agent.
