PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing swollen confectionery without getting a product dirty. SOLUTION: This method for producing swollen confectionery comprises the following process: (a) forming a starch-containing confectionery pellet; (b) applying oil to the pellet; and (c) pressing the oil-applied pellet with a preheated plate followed by releasing the pellet to make it swollen.
