摘要 The method and device for measuring the time of operation of electric, in particular smaller systems, such as instruments, tools and appliances, and for processing the measured data are characterized in that turning-on of the switch (4) of the primary electric circuit (1) of the electric system (6) connected to the mains voltage activates the measuring electric circuit (9) with the electronic measuring clip (8). This, in relation to switching-on of the switch (4), measures the time of operation of the system and the results of measurement are stored in the memory of the electronic measuring chip or they are fully or partially processed and the processed data are stored in the memory of the electronic measuring chip (8). After turning-off the switch (4) of the primary electric circuit (1), the supply of voltage into the measuring electric circuit (9) is disconnected and the measurement is interrupted or terminated. Subsequently, the primary electric circuit 1, disconnected from the supply voltage, is communicationly connected, in a scheduled manner or occasionally for a limited time, to the external counting device (14) or with the connected computer (17) or with the external computer (18) equipped with communication hardware. Then, using the external counting device (14) or external computer (18) equipped with communication hardware, the communication electric circuit (12) is activated and the data from the electronic measuring chip (8) are processed into output information for the purpose of their utilization.
