<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide golf club heads having an improved hitting surface. <P>SOLUTION: Grooves (12) are machined on the hitting surface with precise tolerance. Each groove has a sharp edge, a round end, and a draft angle of 2°-12°.
