The connecting part has a sole-attaching end and a stud-attaching end. The sole attaching end of the connecting part is plate shaped for recessing into the plastics sole (10). The stud-attaching end extends at right angles to the sole-attaching end, so as to extend out of the sole. A latching device is provided at the stud-attaching end for releasably connection to a corresponding latching device in the stud.
