<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radio terminal in which when a freely opening/closing case is opened, an antenna becomes a minimum available length, so that validity of the antenna is taken into account. <P>SOLUTION: When an unlock piece 218 is slid while closing a first case 201 and a second case 202 together, a radio terminal 200 is turned to a first angleθ<SB>1</SB>around a hinge mechanism 204 by an action of a non-illustrated case opening/closing spring, so that a call enabled state is provided. At such a time, an antenna portion 203 is turned by a second angleθ<SB>2</SB>away from the second case 202 by a non-illustrated antenna opening/closing spring. The antenna portion 203 goes away from the head, thereby preventing validity of the antenna from being deteriorated by radio wave absorption. Since the antenna portion 203 is turned by the hinge mechanism 204, even without elongating the antenna, the length to the hinge mechanism 204 can be ensured, thereby ensuring the length required for transmitting/receiving radio waves. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
