<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering waste paper from a resin-coated paper, a paper to which a resin is attached, a heat-sensitive paper or a pressure-sensitive paper from which waste paper can not be recovered by a conventional method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for regenerating waste paper has a process treating the paper in a liquid water kept at≥100°C.
