<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery, and its manufacturing method, capable of preventing a shortcut flow, easily alleviating pressure loss fluctuation among single cells, and aiming at improvement of stability of the fuel battery, or cost reduction. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel battery is provided with an electrolyte 1, a pair of fuel gas and oxidant gas diffusion electrodes 2a, 2b arranged so as to pinch the electrolyte 1, a pair of fuel-gas side and oxidant-gas side separators 6, 7 arranged so as to pinch the pair of gas diffusion electrodes 2a, 2b, a pair of fuel-gas side and oxidant-gas side sealing means 4, 5 arranged between the electrolyte 1 and the pair of separators 6, 7 around the gas diffusion electrodes 2a, 2b. It is structured by forming at least a part of a space 9 at the fuel gas side surrounded by the fuel-gas side separator 6, the fuel gas diffusion electrode 2a, the electrolyte 1, and the fuel-gas side sealing means 4 so that the fuel gas cannot pass with a liquid-state sealing agent 11 in a cured state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
