<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for connecting a laser probe for a medical treatment by which heating is suppressed in a connection part with the laser probe for the medical treatment, concerning the apparatus for connecting the laser probe for the medical treatment for connecting a laser instrument for medical use to the laser probe for the medical treatment. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for connecting the laser probe for the medical treatment includes: a connection part 2 having a laser beam emission terminal part 20; a connection part 3 having a laser beam reception terminal part 30; a laser guiding fiber 4 whose front end is positioned at the terminal part 20 and whose rear end is positioned at the terminal part 30; a protection tube 5 for connecting the connection parts 2, 3 and storing the fiber 4; a port 6 for communication with the inner part of the tube 5; and an air lumen 7. The connection part 2 includes: air flow passages 23a, 23b for allowing air injetced from the port 6 to flow into the connection part 2; and side holes 22a, 22b for guiding the air flowing-in from the air flow passages to an outer part.
