PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting resin composition as a means for improving the thermal shock resistance of a casting epoxy resin, causing little lowering of the mechanical strength even by the addition of a rubber component, usable when subjected to thermal shock and physical shock and having improved heat-resistance to improve the durability and reliability. SOLUTION: The casting resin composition is composed of (A) an epoxy resin, (B) an aromatic polyamine and (C) a silicone powder containing≥50 wt.% fraction having a Wadell practical sphericity of≥0.7.
