PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for synthesizing a protein targeted on or in a membrane structure using a method for synthesizing a cell-free protein, for further detail, the method for synthesizing the protein having a physiological activity comprising adding a cellular membrane component to a cell-free protein reagent without containing an oxidizable type substance under reducing conditions. SOLUTION: This method for synthesizing the protein targeted on or in the membrane structure comprises adding the cellular membrane component to the cell-free protein reagent satisfying the following conditions (a) and (b).
