FIELD: railway transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lubrication of motor-axial bearings of locomotive traction drive. Proposed traction drive of locomotive consists of traction motor 1 installed on wheelset axle 6 by means of motor-axial bearings 4. Lubricant 16 is pressure-held in hollow axle of locomotive wheelset and it is delivered through radial channels 9 in axle to friction zone of motor axial bearings. ^ EFFECT: improved reliability of motor-axial bearings of locomotive traction drive. ^ 2 dwg
