The arrangement has a hood (10), and a grille (12) equipped with a barrier (14) closing a grille cavity (16) located near a motor vehicle headlight. The barrier is mounted rotatably around a horizontal axis carried by a lower edge of the cavity. A stop pin (38) maintains the barrier in a closed position of the cavity, where the stop pin is accessed only when the hood is opened. An independent claim is also included for a process of replacing a headlight bulb using an access trap arrangement.
