PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application processing an event calendar and providing a medium diary relating to a digital medium item with a calendar view to a digital communication system. SOLUTION: This medium diary application is executed by the digital communication system. The medium diary combines an electronic calendar planner's profit with a digital medium file manager organizing a medium in a time frame. The medium diary provides the calendar view of the calendar event and a reminder and the medium view of a medium item relevant to a past calendar event or a past date. The medium diary may give time-line view which combines the calendar view and the medium view with the composite view incorporating the time-line view.
