PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-isolation rubber support, of such a structure that temperature dependency of elastic properties effective for base-isolation support is secured, and that damping characteristics are improved, while generation of rupture or cracking at the time of shearing deformation at rubber parts in contact with outer circumferential end parts of a hard plate can be effectively prevented. SOLUTION: Rubber layers 24 in lamination 26 comprising the hard plates 22 having hardness and rubber plates 24 alternately laminated on each other are formed of rubber composition including at least one kind of carbon black, asphalts, tars, and pitches in prescribed quantity to 100parts by weight of butadiene rubber or rubber material mainly comprising butadiene rubber. On side surfaces of the laminate 26, coating rubber 28 to provide tensile strength of 10MPa or more is integrally provided to get in contact at least with an outer circumferential end surface of the hard plate.
