PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control system of an internal combustion engine by which fuel injection quantity can be reliably maintained at a normal value. SOLUTION: In a fuel injection control routine, fuel-injection starting timingθS is computed (step 100), a basic fuel-injection time TAU0 is computed (step 101), and a correction coefficient K is computed (step 102). The correction coefficient K corresponds to deviation of a mean suction-pipe pressure in one combustion cycle (crank angle 720°) from a mean suction-pipe pressure in the basic fuel-injection time TAU0 in a fuel-injection starting timingθS. The correction coefficient K is obtained beforehand and stored as a function of an engine load and an engine speed. By correcting the basic fuel-injection time TAU0 by the correction coefficient K (TAU=TAU0×K), the fuel-injection time TAU0 is computed (step 103).
