PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head which can stably form a dot of a desired size on a recording medium, even if an ink droplet is continuously ejected at a high speed, and an inkjet recording apparatus. SOLUTION: An ejection electrode 18, to which an ejection voltage for ejecting ink is applied, is formed on a head substrate 12. This can make an ejection port substrate 16 thin, and can make an ejection port 28 short. A surface, whereon an inner wall of the substrate 16 forming the ejection port 28 is brought into contact with the ink, is reduced for a decrease in friction, and the property of the ejection of the ink droplet from the ejection port 28 is improved. A charged coloring material particle in a main channel 30 is moved to the ejection port 28 by using an electric field which is directed upward in Fig. and generated from the ejection electrode 18 by a bias voltage, and a desired numbers of coloring material particles are concentrated in the ejection port 28.
