PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lane-keeping device with which steering control for a host vehicle is performed for driving in a cruising lane using GPS information and an in-vehicle camera, and cost can be reduced, using existing system configuration. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a vehicle location detector 3 for detecting the location information for a vehicle 1, by receiving a signal regarding the location information; a reader 5 for reading map information from a map information storage medium 4 mounted on the vehicle 1; a lateral departure amount detector 7b for detecting the lateral departure amount e for the vehicle 1 in a cruising lane 12; an angle operating part 2a for calculating the lateral departure angular amountθfor the vehicle 1 with respect to the cruising lane 12, based on the location information for the vehicle 1 detected by the vehicle location detector 3 and the map information read by the reader 5; and a steering operation part 2b for calculating the steering control amount for the vehicle 1; based on the lateral departure angular amountθand the lateral departure amount e.
