PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high reliability by compatibly establishing reduction of oil rise and cooling of an electric motor in a hermetic scroll compressor used for a refrigeration cycle. SOLUTION: A compression mechanism part 105 and a motor part 6 are stored inside of a hermetic vessel. A frame outer circumference passage 404 communicating an upper space 704 where compressed gas is delivered and a hermetic vessel inside hollow space 705 in a motor upper side is provided in a frame outside of the compression mechanism part, and waste oil pipe 403 returning oil fed to each bearing of the compression mechanism part to a oil reservoir at a compressor bottom part from a intermediate space. A stator outer circumference passage 603 communicating the intermediate space and a lower space 706 is provided in a motor part stator outer side, and a gas leading passage frame 10 of U-shaped cross section is provided at an annular space part in outer circumference side of an upper side coil end of the motor part. An outlet part toward a circumference direction of a hermetic vessel inner wall of the gas leading passage frame is constructed to go to a direction opposite to a direction where the waste oil pipe is arranged to prevent gas from colliding with the waste oil pipe.
