A METHOD OF PROCESSING MERINO WOOL FIBRE AND A NURSING PAD MADE FROM THIS FIBRE

The invention relates to a nursing pad, especially to the nursing pad of nursing mother. The proposed method of processing merino wool fibre comprises wool carding, preparing a fine layer of the carded wool and transferring it for milling with needle field, wherein a distance between the needles is about 5 mm. The carded fibre is transferred through at least two sets of needles till it is obtained nonwoven wool fibre, which has density of 180-210 g/m2 and thickness of 2-3 mm. The nursing pad ismade from merino wool fibre treated specially. The nonwoven wool fibre is folded in half: inward the side processed by needles. After that the due size pad is formed from this two layers material by cutting a pattern and sewing these two layers. These incredibly soft and soothingly comfortable nursing pads provide the best conditions for successful breast-feeding.
