PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that an optical axis adjusting process is required for assembling a receptacle in order to make the optical axis of an optical fiber on the tip part of a plug approximately coincide with the optical axis of an optical device because the receptacle which is a component constituting an optical connector is formed of at least two components of an insertion part for inserting the plug and a body part for arranging the optical devices. SOLUTION: The body part and the insertion part are integrally molded, and a plurality of pads and a plurality of wires for electrically connecting these pads are formed on the surface of the body part. The optical devices are arranged on the surface of the body part, the pads or the wires, and the optical devices are electrically and directly connected to some of the pads.
