The invention relates to a system for the transmission of push-to-talk messages, comprising at least one first and one second mobile terminal, at least one first and one second transmission station and at least one network computer which are in communication. The network computer is suitable for management of push-to-talk communications between the first and the second mobile terminal. The first mobile terminal comprises memory means for the digital storage of a number of audio files, in particular, of voice messages and means for requesting a transmission authorisation for a push-to-talk session and for the transmission of at least one of the number of audio files to the second mobile terminal.
