BUILDING TILE, BUILDING TILE MOUNTING RAIL, AND BUILDING TILE LAYING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building tile which is easy to mount, applicable to a roof of a different type, and available not only for roofing of a new house but also for re-roofing of a roof of an existing house.

SOLUTION: The building tile 1 has a broad rectangular first surface 6, a second surface 7 in parallel with the first surface 6, and four side surfaces. The first surface 6 forms a generally flat plane, and the second surface 7 includes outer ridges 8 arranged along two sides thereof opposed to each other, and an inner ridge 9 arranged between the outer ridges 8 in parallel with the outer ridges 8. Further the side surfaces along the outer ridges 8 each have a groove 11 formed therein.
