<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture in a handrail by which an external appearance is not defaced, replacement of a battery is not required and blinking of the lighting fixture is automatically operated in fitting the lighting fixture to the handrail. <P>SOLUTION: A handrail capping 1 is formed by an upside halved member 6 and a downside halved member 7, and a hollow-like pillar 2 is attached to the downside halved member 7 to form the handrail so that an inside portion of the downside halved member 7 may communicate with a pillar's hollow portion 20. A solar cell 10 and a daylight sensor 11 are mounted on the upside halved member 6, the downside halved member 7 is equipped with the battery 12, and the lighting fixture 9 is fitted to the hollow-like pillar 2. An electric wire 17 is laid down along an inside portion of the upside halved member 6, the inside portion of the downside halved member 7, and the pillar's hollow portion 20 which communicates with the inside portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
