摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope device capable of simultaneously obtaining image information by visible light and image information by fluorescence and obtaining the image information by the fluorescence by a high S/N. SOLUTION: Images formed on the first and second image pickup areas of an image pickup element can be respectively picked up and transferred to a processor for an endoscope as image signals, only the images by the visible light are formed on the first image pickup area, and only the images by autologous fluorescence of a wavelength shorter than that of the visible light are formed on the second image pickup area. A first period during which a first luminous flux including both of the visible light and exciting light is emitted, a second period during which only the exciting light is emitted and a third period during which neither of the visible light and the exciting light is emitted are cyclically repeated, the image signals by the images formed on the first image pickup area are transferred during the second and/or third period, and the image signals by the images formed on the second image pickup area are transferred during the third period.
