FIELD: incineration of waste. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises charging the vertical well furnace with solid waste and loose inert heat-transfer agent, initiating pyrolysis by supplying hot steam-water mixture, producing low-pressure pyrolysis gas, and burning the gas providing the utilization of combustion heat. The low-pressure pyrolysis gas is energized by mixing with the high-pressure air flow in the ejector. The temperature of steam-water mixture is maintained at a level of 60-68°. The temperature in the zone of gasification of the solid waste is 150-250°.
