The switch has a support (1) movable in rotation around an axis of rotation of a shaft (5). The support has a control handle (10) located far away from the axis. The switch is configured to switch from one switching state to another switching state when the support is rotated from one position to another position. The support is in metastable equilibrium state in the two positions. An independent claim is also included for a system comprising a timer and a switch.
