PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition satisfactory in both low heat buildup and improved rubber hardness. SOLUTION: The tire rubber composition comprises 100 pts. wt. diene rubber and 2 to 100 pts. wt. spherical porous crosslinked particles having a mean particle diameter of 2 to 50μm and an oil absorption of 50 to 500 ml/100 g, provided that the spherical porous crosslinked particles are obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable monomer and a crosslinking agent.
