PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc pad capable of surely dispersing thermal stress concentrated on a central part of the disc pad. SOLUTION: In this disc pad 100 formed by adhering a frictional material 120 to a back plate 110, a circular slit 121 is formed on a central part of a frictional face of the frictional material 120. Whereby the thermal stress concentrated toward the center from the circumference of the frictional material 120 is released and dispersed by the slit 121, the warping of the frictional material 120 caused by the thermal stress can be reduced, and the generation of braking noise can be prevented.
