<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, recently in various places, a driver of an automobile, a train and the like have caused a large traffic accident due to drink-driving, especially that it is impossible to check drinking after calling a start or to confirm the driving of the driver in a remote place or the carriage of a driver's license, and that it is difficult to execute sensor part maintenance or maintenance management accompanied by a secular change concerning an alcohol detection measuring unit. <P>SOLUTION: This alcohol detection system is installed with a personal computer, PDA and a portable telephone, and connected with an alcohol detecting device, and configured to store the daily alcohol detection measurement results of a driver in the personal computer as history data. This system is used to read a driver's license instead of the ID input of each driver, and to execute alcohol measurement so that it is possible to detect a person who does not carry the driver's license.
