PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire allowing its sides to appear thin without lowering the actual flatness of the tire and allowing the rim to appear to have a larger diameter than the actual. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 10 is formed in a toroid shape and consists of a tread part 10a and side wall parts 10b, wherein a ring-shaped ornamental band 1 centering on the rotary axis of the tire is provided on the surface of the side wall part 10b and inside the the tire radial direction more than the maximum width position of the tire 10.
