PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock opening and closing contro system for enhancing the entrance and exit control by automatically rewriting the data for locking and unlocking without interposing users' operations or memory and, at the same time, improving the users' convenience by building the keys for a common portion and particular portion into one system. SOLUTION: A key unit 3 contains particular ID data and lock opening and closing data 32 to 34 corresponding to a plurality of control unit 4 for common and special use portions. The control unit 4 certifies lock opening and closing data 32 to 34 read out from the key unit; create and hold new lock opening and closing data 32 to 34 by the data control means; outputs permit signals permitting the unlocking or locking thereby performing lock opening and closing control. The lock opening and closing data 32 to 34 are made to permit rewritable manner at proper points in time based on the information related to the operating information during lock opening and closing.
