PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processor system capable of image processing at high speed.

SOLUTION: The processor system is equipped with a CPU 1 that is connected to an accelerator 3 and issues a reservation of an activation request to the accelerator, and the accelerator 3 having a counter of the number of requests that counts the number of requests issued by the CPU, and a counter of the number of terminations that counts the number of terminated processings. The accelerator 3 is made to activate itself when the value of the counter of the number of requests is larger than the value of the counter of the number of terminated processings.
