PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deodorize/decompose odor of depositions and stain by using a mist generated by atomization, and to efficiently and effectively use the mist so as not to spray the mist unnecessarily. SOLUTION: This toilet seat apparatus 9 is equipped with a toilet seat 8, and an atomization generator 10 for generating the mist M by the atomization. The toilet seat apparatus is also equipped with a human detecting means 20 for detecting the presence of a human being in a toilet, and a control means 30 for controlling the drive of the atomization generator 10 in accordance with a detection signal of the means 20.
