The present invention provides a new and useful system for reducing air pressure while maintaining air volume flow generally and particularly a method for reversibly inflating and deflating a commercial truck air mattress via the standard air compressor of the truck. One of the unique abilities of the present invention is the down regulation of the air pressure to a level useful for inflating the air mattress to a level suitable for sleeping comfortably.
