The inventive detection or identification antenna comprises at least one spiral (3 to 5) which consists of at least one electroconductive wire and is connected to an transponder electronic chip (7) and whose operating frequency is equal to or higher than 10 MHz, the surface defined by said at least one spiral being materially equal to or less than 0.30 m2. The total capacitance of said antenna is materially equal to or higher than 140 pF and the over voltage ratio of said at least one spiral is materially equal to or greater than 30.
