PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a previously pasted type false adhesive paper having excellent hiding properties and peelability. SOLUTION: The false adhesive paper is obtained by forming a false adhesive layer on at least one surface of the front and back surfaces of a base paper containing a raw material pulp containing 5-40 wt.% mechanical pulp, also containing 5-40 wt.% one of an inorganic pigment and an organic pigment or 5-40 wt.% total of the inorganic pigment and the organic pigment, and having 100-500 mJ internal connection strength measured based on an internal bond method regulated by Japan TAPPI 18-2.
