PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run capable of restraining a collision sound when closing door glass, and capable of remarkably improving positional stability in a door glass closing state.
SOLUTION: This glass run is installed in a door of an automobile, and has an extrusion molding part 2 in response to its upper side part. The extrusion molding part 2 has a cross-sectional substantially U-shaped body part 11, and a pair of seal lips 12 and 13. The inside of the body part 11 is provided with a shock absorbing means 21 composed of a pair of support parts 22 and 23 extending from a base part 14 and a receiving part 24 for connecting mutual tip parts of the support parts 22 and 23, and composed of a foaming body. A cutout part 25 is formed on an inside surface of respective corner parts of the receiving part 24 and the support parts 22 and 23. A shock can be sufficiently absorbed by the presence of a hollow space when closing the door glass DG. The receiving part 24 is easily smoothly deformed in an expected shape, and the door glass DG is stably stored in a predetermined position.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
