<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the abnormality of a cooler for the battery or the capacitor of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid ECU executes a program which contains a step (S100) of detecting the variation ΔT(A) of the temperature of the first battery block, the variation ΔT(B) of the temperature of the second battery block, and the variation ΔT(C) of the temperature of the third battery block, a step (S200) of comparing the variation of the temperature of each battery block with the next, a step (S300) of determining whether or not the variation of the temperature of at least any one battery block out of a plurality of battery blocks is deviated from the variation of the temperature of other battery blocks, and a step (S400) of determining that the cooler is abnormal in case that the variation of the temperature of at least any one battery block is deviated from the variation of the temperature of other battery blocks (YES in S300). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
