PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and securely bring an electrode part into contact with the surface of a living body while eliminating the time and effort for plowing through hair.

SOLUTION: The biological signal detector 5 comprises a support member 13 to be set adjacent to the head of the living body, and the electrode part 15 supported by the support member 13 in contact with the surface of the head for detecting the electric signal of the head. The electrode part 15 is supported by the support member 13 so as to be freely rocked.
