PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive weather strip capable of reducing the weight and dispelling the defect due to the installation of the hole on the flange of a body. SOLUTION: The weather strip 1a is equipped with a main body 4a and a clip 5a. The main body part 4a is equipped with a substantially tabular base part 7a abutted along a flange 6 at the circumferential edge of a door opening 3 of a vehicle, a hollow seal part 9a, and a cover lip part 11a. The base part 7a is provided with a locking groove 8a continuously formed along the longitudinal direction of the weather strip 1a. The clip 5a is formed in an approximately U-shaped section, and equipped with a locking projection part 20a. The clip 5a is locked with the main body part 4a by fitting the projection part 20a into the locking groove 8a.
