Method for evaluating signal flows from a sensor arrangement, especially for detecting a motor vehicle accident has the following steps: measurement of signal values (1-10) using at least a sensor apparatus; transmission of the signal values to a control unit; and determination of a time differential (4', 5') from a combination of more than two sequential signal measurements by the control unit.
